Refund Policies

Your total satisfaction is our goal. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it in new, unused condition and in the original packaging, within 14 days of receipt for a refund of the purchase price, with the following exceptions:

The period of time that we will accept a return of an item purchased during the month of December is amended from that stated above to 14 days after Christmas.

We cannot accept the return of a Vintage Straight Razor. As stated prominently in the Vintage Straight Razor category page heading, our Vintage Straight Razors are sold "as is" and are not returnable. Every reasonable effort is made to list any serious defects that were reflected in the determination of the price of the razor.

We cannot accept the return of used razors, brushes, or other used items.

Any item sold as a "Clearance Item" is not returnable.

Due to the possibility of contamination and our inability to confirm that the product is unused we are unable to accept the return of soaps, creams, lotion, or other products which do not have a secure tamper-proof package seal.

We cannot accept the return of items because the scent is found not to be the scent preferred.

We cannot accept the return of books, DVDs, or special-ordered items.

The return of all non-detective items are subject to a restocking fee of 10% of the sales price of each item returned..

Special Return Policy for Straight Razors: The authorized return of an unused straight razor within 14 days of purchase will require an additional $30.00 restocking fee to cover the cost of re-sharpening and re-sterilization of the razor before it can be returned to our inventory. This is necessary for the protection of our customers and to ensure the continued quality of merchandise that has left our control. Please note that we only sell a straight razor as "new" one time. Razors returned under this policy are resold in our Clearance section as "Almost New" at a discount and fully disclosed as returned merchandise.

Please note: Shipping charges are not refundable unless the return is the result of our error.

Please email us for a Return Authorization Number. Provide all pertinent details including order number, order date, and reason for the return. You will receive a reply email including a Return Authorization Number. No credit will be issued for an unauthorized return.
