Refund Policy:

Your total satisfaction is our goal. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it in new, unused condition and in the original packaging, within 14 days of receipt for a refund of the purchase price, with the following exceptions:

The period of time that we will accept a return of an item purchased during the month of December is amended from that stated above to 14 days after Christmas.

We cannot accept the return of a Vintage Straight Razor. As stated prominently in the Vintage Straight Razor category page heading, our Vintage Straight Razors are sold "as is" and are not returnable. Every reasonable effort is made to list any serious defects that were reflected in the determination of the price of the razor.

We cannot accept the return of used razors, brushes, or other used items.

Any item sold as a "Clearance Item" is not returnable.

Due to the possibility of contamination and our inability to confirm that the product is unused we are unable to accept the return of soaps, creams, lotion, or other products which do not have a secure tamper-proof package seal.

We cannot accept the return of items because the scent is found not to be the scent preferred.

We cannot accept the return of books, DVDs, or special-ordered items.

The return of all non-defective items are subject to a restocking fee of 10% of the sales price of each item returned..

Special Return Policy for Straight Razors: Each straight razor has been professionally honed and sharpened so it is delivered shave ready, which means the tamper seal has already been broken. The razor is not to be stropped before its first use. We do not accept the return of straight razors, because there is no way to know if it has been used or not. Any straight razor that has been purchased, cannot be returned, due to sanitary and health concerns. 
 
Please note: Shipping charges are not refundable unless the return is the result of our error.

Please email us for a Return Authorization Number. Provide all pertinent details including order number, order date, and reason for the return. You will receive a reply email including a Return Authorization Number. No credit will be issued for an unauthorized return.

RISK OF LOSS

All items purchased from Vintage Blades LLC are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. However, we ship exclusively with UPS. You will receive an email directly from UPS with a tracking number upon shipment of your order. Vintage Blades will facilitate the processing of all claims for lost shipments.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

Vintage Blades LLC attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by Vintage Blades LLC itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition for a refund. Refer to our Returns Policy below to see what restrictions may apply.

PRICING

Except where noted otherwise, the List Price displayed for products on our website represents the full retail price listed on the product itself, suggested by the manufacturer or supplier, or estimated in accordance with standard industry practice; or the estimated retail value for a comparably featured item offered elsewhere. The List Price is a comparative price estimate and may or may not represent the prevailing price in every area on any particular day. For certain items that are offered as a set, the List Price may represent the aggregate of the manufacturer's estimated or suggested retail price for each of the items included in the set.

BEST PRICE GUARANTEE

If you have seen a lower price on any product that we offer, email us a link to the product listing on the web site showing the identical item, its current price and "in stock" status. Once you place your order with us we will refund to your credit card or PayPal account the price difference. The best price guarantee can only be honored at the time of purchase. Please note our price match policy will be applied only to our domestic competitors. We do not price match Amazon or eBay.

UPS ADDRESS CORRECTION FEE

Please be sure to provide your correct shipping address (including apartment number, etc). If an address correction is required to deliver your package, UPS charges an Address Correction Fee of $12.35 for Ground packages. By ordering on our site, you agree to pay this fee if you provide the wrong address or if you change the shipping address after your package has been shipped. This charge will be billed separately to the credit card or PayPal account used for your order.

UNDELIVERABLE OR REFUSED PACKAGES

Any package refused or returned due to incorrect address, action, inaction or absence of the recipient at time of attempted delivery will be considered a canceled order. The customer refund will be reduced by a restocking fee and shipping/handling charges. The restocking/cancellation fee is 10% of the sales price of each item ordered. UPS charges a return shipping fee when a package must be returned to the shipper. You agree to pay this fee if the package is refused by the customer, unable to be delivered after the third attempt, or returned to our warehouse due to an insufficient or incorrect address. Additionally, you also agree to pay our flat-rate shipping charge of $8.50 or the actual billed shipping amount (whichever is higher) to recapture the initial shipping charges for any package that is returned to us. The customer's refund will be reduced by these aggregate charges.

REQUIRED SIGNATURES

Most orders do not require a signature. However, any PayPal order totalling $250 or more will require signature upon delivery. In this case, please provide a valid physical shipping address where someone will be present to sign for the package. After three attempts of delivery for signature, the package will be returned to the shipper and it will be the customer's responsibility for the freight charges incurred both ways, regardless of any free shipping offered at the time of order.

CHANGES MADE AFTER AN ORDER IS PLACED

We are more than happy to make changes to any order prior to its being processed. There is no fee associated with this. Please communicate these requests by email to orders@vintagebladesllc.com. However, any request to change an order after it has been processed and packed for shipment cannot be honored.

RESTOCKING/CANCELLATION FEE

Once an order has been received and processed, the order is subject to a restocking/cancellation fee should the customer wish to cancel the order. The restocking/cancellation fee is 10% of the sales price of each item ordered.
• Cancellation requests received after the order has completed the processing phase will incur the cancellation fee.
• Any package refused or returned due to incorrect address, action, inaction or absence of the recipient at time of attempted delivery will be considered a canceled order. The customer refund will be reduced by the restocking fee and shipping/handling charges. See above for additional shipping charges that may apply to undeliverable or refused packages.
• Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable and thus will not be included in the customer refund.

DOVO POLICY ON RAZOR HONING

Dovo's policy is that the sharpening of a Dovo straight razor by anyone other than their own factory craftsmen, including the customer purchasing the razor, will render their 2-year warranty null and void. By purchasing a Dovo razor that is professionally honed by Vintage Blades, you are acknowledging Dovo’s policy on its warranty status.

If a Dovo razor with the factory edge (not professionally honed) is preferred, this can be specified in the Special Instructions area found at checkout. No discount is offered for these razors since our professionally honing is offered at no charge. Any issue with a razor ordered in a sealed Dovo factory carton regarding material defects and the degree to which they are “shave ready” must be addressed directly to Dovo.

Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to VintageBladesLLC.com or to products you purchase through VintageBladesLLC.com shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in Baltimore, Idaho, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate Vintage Blades LLC’s intellectual property rights, Vintage Blades LLC may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the state of Idaho, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator's award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
